Corgi 1:50 Scania T ridgway rental limited edition die cast truck
model. Based in Shropshire, P.S. ridgway ltd is a family firm with
fifty years of experience in the transport industry. Starting out in the
careful handling of textile products the company has since developed
and extended to supplying self-drive plant from small plant up to
forty-five ton excavators. To transport this wide range of machinery the
firm has three trucks, one of them being the Scania T Cab modelled here
which has become well known as'T Rex' which joined ridgway rentals in
2003. Originally fitted with a King GTS 60, 'T Rex' can carry excavators
up to thirty-five tons. In 2007 the trailer to the cab was changed to a
Faymonville five axle extendable that enabled the vehicle to carry
forty-five ton excavators. 'T Rex' and driver Ben, who has been at the
wheel from new, can often been seen across the UK and have recently
